Our story is one of family, dedication, and a relentless pursuit of excellence in an industry that keeps the city flowing.

1987-1993

The Foundation

Our founder, Warren, first cut his teeth in the plumbing industry back in 1987. With a wrench in hand and a vision in mind, he quickly mastered the craft, becoming a partner in his first company by 1990.

His passion for plumbing and a desire to leave his own mark on the industry led him to an ambitious venture.

1987-1993

1994-2001

A Vision Materialized:

In 1994, Warren took the bold step of starting his own piping and heating company, cementing the foundation of what would soon become a household name in NYC plumbing.

He juggled the demands of being a father, entrepreneurship with the rigors of further education and taking night classes twice a week to prepare for the prestigious NYC license exam.

1994-2001

2002-2003

Mastery Achieved:

Determined to reach the pinnacle of his profession, Warren sat for the NYC Master Plumbers License exam in 2002. His perseverance paid off, and on July 8th, 2003, he proudly received NYC LMP#1948.

With his expertise officially recognized, Warren incorporated A Good Plumber Corp in January 2004, setting the stage for growth and expansion.

2002-2003

2004-2015

Expansion and Legacy:

The company truly became a family affair when Warren’s older son, Bill, joined A Good Plumber in 2006. Following in his father’s footsteps, Bill brought fresh enthusiasm to the team.

A year later, in 2007, Warren’s younger son Thomas also joined the ranks, completing the family trio. Together, they fortified the reputation of A Good Plumber as a trustworthy, skilled, and reliable service provider.

2004-2015

2016-present

The Next Generation:

Bill and Thomas, committed to upholding their father’s legacy, embarked on rigorous night and weekend courses, preparing themselves for the NYC Master Plumber’s Exam. Their efforts bore fruit; in March 2016, Bill became a certified NYS Backflow Device Tester, and on November 6th, 2017, he passed his NYC Master Plumber Exam, receiving License #2434.

Not to be outdone, Thomas achieved his NYC Master Plumber License #2517 on January 19th, 2021, marking another proud moment for the family and the company.
