Four teams from "HomeSe#$@" came to my home to clear my shower drain. First team claimed that their snake was too short; couldn't clear it. Team two made a hole in my ceiling, used some kind of pressure gun and still did not resolve the issue. Team three came; looked at what team one and two did, and told me to tell "HomeSe#@$%" that I had a crack in the line. And lastly, team Four came and made two more holes in the ceiling and wall and then I was informed that I had reached my quota for insurance; that I would have to pay out of pocket $1200.00 to get the job done. Finally, I called A Good Plumber and in 10-15 minutes, my drain was cleared!

I had a plumbing violation from DOB and I called “The Good Plumbing”. They send Danny and Nicco who were very professional, polite and on time. They are the best, best, best and I would recommend them to whom ever need plumbing work. They answered my husband and I question so that we could understand. I have no problem with their work. I contacted A Good Plumber after the gas to my first floor apt. was shut off due to a gas leak. I can't say enough great things about this company and their staff- every single person is courteous, professional and genuinely cares about delivering high quality service.Tommy and Eddie began to work on my gas leak within 15 minutes of arriving at my property, which was no easy feat since a city permit was required. Within 3 days, I had new gas pipes installed and my tenant's gas back on. A Good Plumber was with me every step of the way during and after as the work needed to pass inspection from the DOB.Yes, the work was not cheap- however, with a company like A Good Plumber you are paying for quality parts, exceptional service and a peace of mind.Tommy should train on customer service -- his people skills are exceptional! He is knowledgeable, kind and professional.

I was in need of a quick repair for a 30 year old flushometer. My technician arrived really quickly. He explained what would need to be repaired and any potential pitfalls. We did have a pitfall and it was resolved. The technician was clean in terms of work as well as respectful of my property. The job started late due to my work schedule and was not finished because a specific part was not available since the supply house was closed at the time. During this pandemic, lot of supplies are hard to come by. By the end of the first day everything was functional. The tech arrived early on the next business day and completed the job super-fast. The quality of the work was clean and neat. The tech was super nice and helpful. Prices were in line with what other companies charge. No complaints and I even signed up for their Diamond program. Thanks for the great work!This it the part two. Maurizio arrived within the promised window. He assessed what my new request was and completed it quickly and cleanly. He then continued on my follow up request and also finished it quickly and cleanly. He is an exceptional technician and very respectful and efficient.Thanks again!

Tommy did a great job rebuilding the gas line, after it was shut off by National Grid due toa gas leak. He has a great personality and is very considerate. He was able to complete the job expeditiously as the family with little kids was affected by the shut off. Although the company is not cheap, overall I am very satisfied with the quality of their work.Update 2 years later: I had a different issue at my 80 years old house. The house's main water line has burst underground and flooded the boiler room. Tommy has arrived very quickly, investigated the issue, came up with the mitigation plan and started the repairs. He and his colleague Danny did a great job completely rerouting water line above ground and figuring it out how to reconnect it with all existing connections. I am very satisfied with the quality of work and professionalism of this company. Once again, they are not cheap, but totally worth it especially in addressing complex emergency situations .

Just had a carbon manoxide alert, was told by the FDNY to get a plumber. Called A Good Plumber co.I had recommend them in the pass but never had to use them until now. Thank God 🙏 They came detected the problem .I had chimney and boiler problem .They don't do chimney but Thomas took the time to get me a good chimney co after he had my boiler all checked service and good to go.Ty Warren fo raising such wonderful young man and also having a wonderful and professional team. We could not have been happier with this company, from the ease and speed of making an appointment, to the on-time arrival, professional attitude, and good work provided by Thomas the day of the appointment. Another excellent experience with A Good Plumber. Warren and crew have taken care of our plumbing needs for over 30 years! The communication from the central office is most helpful, and the Diamond Club is a great value. New guy Kendon C. was professional and took care of snaking out my clogged tub drain, and then checked to confirm other drains didn't have any problems. Too many times you hear horror stories about plumbers but not about these guys! We are completely satisfied.

Very happy with the professionalism and courteous handling of the whole experience. We were fully informed of every option and cost before a contract was made. I never compared prices, I guess we were give good value along with a big discount...plus the senior discount. They are licensed, insured AND drug tested employees that I felt comfortable with in my home. They did the job and left everything clean and back in place. Being in a Queen Ann with all original fixtures the work was a little more challenging.
We have to wait for a sink to be delivered before they send the same wonderful plumber back to do a second job. And we might have a third too! I will recommend A Good Plumber to friends and family.
